MEET DR. PHAM

As an endodontist, Dr. Pham’s top priority is to provide compassionate, quality care.  She is passionate about helping people improve their quality of life by relieving their dental pain and saving their natural teeth.   Dr. Pham has worked in the Greater Pittsburgh area as a root canal specialist for over 10 years and has been repeatedly recognized as “Top Dentist” by Pittsburgh Magazine.  She is able to provide her patients with the highest level of care using advanced technology and the best evidence-based clinical practices.  Dr. Pham strives to ensure her patients are respected, well-informed, and comfortable throughout their entire dental experience.   

 Dr. Pham was born in Saigon, Vietnam but spent the majority of her childhood in North Wales, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of North Penn High School.  Her parents were both and still remain, a great inspiration to her in seeking a career that combines hard work with caring for others.  For the majority of her childhood, her father was a dental technician.  He encouraged her to pursue a career in dentistry.  

 Dr. Pham graduated in 1997 from Muhlenberg College with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Art Sculpture.   Her passion to help others and her love for the health sciences led her to a career in dentistry.  Dr. Pham completed her doctorate degree in dental medicine in 2006 at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.  She then completed a one-year general practice residency at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center.  After practicing general dentistry for 1 year, Dr. Pham discovered her special interest in Endodontics.  She was fascinated with the advances in technology in the field of Endodontics that would allow her to offer patients a higher level of experience and care; such as regenerative endodontics, microsurgery, microscopes, and focused cone beam technology.   She attended West Virginia University Health Science Center, where she graduated with a certificate in Endodontics and a Master's in Science in 2012.  Dr. Pham is a proud member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Western PA.   

When Dr. Pham is not treating patients, she is spending time with her husband, 4 boys, and 2 golden retrievers.  She also enjoys reading, crafting, and jogging.  Dr. Pham is also active in her church with a special interest in children’s ministry.    

Dr. Daniel Bartling was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended West Virginia University for both his undergraduate and dental degrees. After dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Following the completion of his residency program, Dr. Bartling and his wife moved to Iowa City, Iowa where he began his Endodontic Residency at the University of Iowa. His training included an intense focus on the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) as well as the most cutting-edge scientific literature, allowing him to make the most current evidence-based decision-making in his practice.

Dr. Bartling completed the rigorous board certification process to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is active in the dental community and enjoys volunteering and teaching both dental students and the general public.

Another significant part of his life revolves around enjoying time with his family and participating in a wide variety of outdoor activities including skiing, cycling, pickleball, and kayaking. He also enjoys cooking for his friends and family including his wife, Lena and daughter Lucia.
